Ball valve 1/4" NPT x 6.35mm barbed with check valve
Usage: Professional ball valve with integrated check valve for beer and beverage gas distribution systems. Prevents regulator damage and cross-contamination between kegs.
Features: Built-in check valve protects regulator and prevents gas or beer migration between kegs. Compatible with standard manifolds - converts 2-output to 3-output, 4-output to 5-output, or 6-output to 7-output by replacing end plug.
Technical data: Thread: 1/4 inch NPT. Hose barb: 6.35mm (1/4"). Material: Brass valve body with barbed fitting.
⚠️ Important: Use PTFE (Teflon) plumber's tape when installing into manifold threads to ensure proper seal and prevent gas leaks.
Frequently asked questions about this product
What does the integrated check valve do?
It lets gas flow one way only, toward the keg, so beer or gas cannot flow back into the line. That protects the regulator and prevents one keg contents migrating into another on a shared manifold.
How does this version connect?
It ends in a 6.35 mm (1/4-inch) hose barb that pushes into 1/4-inch gas tubing and is held with a clamp; the other end is a 1/4-inch NPT thread. Choose the barbed version when you are running flexible gas line.
Do I need thread sealant?
Yes on the NPT end. NPT is a tapered thread that seals on the thread itself, so use PTFE tape and tighten snugly without overtightening, which can crack fittings. Check for leaks with soapy water.
Where is it best used?
On a multi-keg gas manifold, fitting one per branch so every keg has its own non-return protection against backflow and cross-contamination.
