How do I install this valve so the joint stays leak-free?
Identify which port is the male thread, wrap it with PTFE tape or a food-safe thread sealant, then hand-tighten and snug it with a wrench without over-torquing, which can distort the seat. Because it follows the DIN32 standard it mates directly with matching DIN32 fittings in your line.
How should I maintain it after running juice through it?
Move the lever fully open or fully closed rather than leaving it part-way, so the ball and seats wear evenly. Flush the valve with warm water and a food-safe cleaner after sugary juices so residue does not dry inside the body.
What pressure and temperature range can it handle?
It is rated for working pressure up to about 16 bar and temperatures from roughly -20°C to +120°C, which covers both hot cleaning cycles and chilled liquid handling. Staying within these limits protects the double sealing system from premature wear.
