What drinks is this pump suitable for?
GG EP-Junior is designed for low viscosity liquids such as wine, juice, water and other clear drinks. It is not suitable for thick wort, precipitation with large particles or very viscous products. We recommend a tank-type pump for transferring pomace or wort.
How does a bypass valve work?
An integrated bypass on the 1 1/4" connection allows part of the flow to be routed back to the pump inlet, so you can fine-tune the productivity without changing the motor speed. This protects the pump from dry running with a closed outlet and allows a gentle transfer when filling smaller tanks or on the bottling line.
Are the parts in contact with the product food safe?
Yes, all parts in contact with the product are made of stainless steel, suitable for the food and beverage industry. It ensures corrosion resistance, easy cleaning and hygienic work in wine cellars, cider production and juice processing.
What is the power supply and performance?
The pump works on the usual 230V single-phase network, the 0.45 kW motor rotates at 2800 rpm and ensures a productivity of up to 3400 L/h. It is suitable for small and medium-sized basements where three-phase connection is not available.
