Cider kit Mangrove Jack's 2.4 kg (Raspberry & Lime)
Usage: The Mangrove Jack's Craft Series Raspberry & Lime cider kit is designed for home cider making. The kit contains fruit concentrate, glucose syrup, cider yeast (M02 Dry Cider Yeast) and sweetener. In addition, 1 kg of dextrose (glucose) must be purchased separately, as well as glucose for refermentation during bottling (7g per litre).
Preparation principle: Cider making begins by diluting the concentrate with boiling water and adding glucose. The mixture is topped up with cold water to 23 litres, then yeast and optionally sweetener are added. Fermentation takes at least 6 days at 20-25°C. After fermentation, the essence sachet is added and the cider is left to clear for 24 hours. The cider is then bottled with refermentation glucose and left at room temperature for 5 days for secondary fermentation.
Features: The kit produces approximately 23 litres of raspberry and lime cider. The colour is deep reddish-purple. Alcohol content is approximately 5.2%. The flavour is characterised by a bold aroma of fresh raspberries and a sharp lime finish. Sweetness can be adjusted using the included sweetener sachet: for dry cider do not add the sweetener, for off-dry add half the sachet, and for sweet cider add the full sachet.

Warnings: Ensure all equipment used during preparation is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised. Do not add the Cider Essence sachet at the beginning of fermentation; it is only added after fermentation is complete. Fermentation temperatures above the recommended level will reduce the quality of the finished cider. Use only bottles rated for high pressure when bottling.
