General Description
This is a Type 30 - MK5 CO2 regulator equipped with two manometers and a 4.5bar safety valve and 65psi gauge. It's a tool-free mounting regulator that allows for easy and quick installation. The CO2 regulator is used for controlling carbon dioxide pressure, allowing precise controlled gas flow for carbonating and serving beer or other beverages. It's an essential device for homebrewers and beverage serving.

- One-handed cylinder attachment: No wrench needed to attach the regulator to the CO2 cylinder. You can easily secure it with the handwheel using one hand. This is possible thanks to the new seal that compresses easily without risk of seal damage or leakage.
- Self-service maintenance: Without vices or special equipment. The regulator's internal parts are now smaller and accessible from the back plate. You can now easily disassemble the regulator knob area, which has an M8 hex head, and clean the regulator from any contamination.
- Output configuration: With check valve, ball valve, and integrated 8mm duotight connection.
- Class 2.5 triple-scale manometers: Showing kPa, bar, and PSI units (accuracy +-2.5%).
- New protective cover design: Made of ultra-high molecular density polyethylene. Even with heavy use by homebrewers (for example during CO2 carbonation), the up-and-down moving cover is less likely to scratch and create brass dust that could otherwise cause pressure rise due to internal contamination.
- Stronger steel manometers: Made from thicker steel.
- Color-coded PRV: Pressure relief valves. This unit comes with a 65psi green PRV. It does not include the red 35psi or grey 100psi PRV.
- M6 mounting holes: For easy installation. Note that for flat mounting, you'll need to remove the handwheel as it may interfere with installation.

Which CO2 cylinders is this regulator compatible with?
The MK5 regulator is compatible with standard W21.8 CO2 cylinders used in Europe. Thanks to the tool-free handwheel, it can be fixed manually without a key. The new gasket compresses easily and reliably, ensuring a leak-proof connection with one-handed tightening.
What is the 4.5 bar relief valve for?
The 4.5 bar safety valve protects the system from overpressure. If the subsequent pressure exceeds 4.5 bar, the valve automatically releases excess gas. This is critical when carbonating beer or serving at high pressure, preventing damage to KEGs, hoses and fittings.
What does PRV 65 psi (green) mean?
PRV stands for Pressure Relief Valve. The green 65 psi PRV is color coded to indicate release pressure. The kit does not include the red 35 psi or gray 100 psi PRVs — they can be purchased separately if you need a different release pressure.
Can I clean and maintain the regulator myself?
Yes — the MK5 is designed for self-service maintenance without vices or special tools. Internals are accessible from the backplate and the knob area of the regulator has an M8 hex head for easy disassembly and cleaning.
What is the 8mm duotight output used for?
The integrated 8mm duotight quick connect allows quick and secure connection of 8mm EVABarrier gas hoses without clamps or tools. Combined with a built-in check valve and ball valve, it provides a clean and reliable output for KEGs or carbonation systems.
