Yes, the plastic seal can withstand standard pasteurization and sterilization temperatures, making the caps suitable for both home and commercial beverage production where heat treatment is used.
What capping tool is needed?
All standard 26mm capping tools can be used: two-handled hand cappers, table top cappers or automatic capping machines. The cap shape is fully standardized and compatible with universal devices.
How many bottles are 100 pcs enough for?
100 caps are enough for about 100 bottles with a volume of 0.33L or 0.5L. We recommend ordering a 10-15% margin to account for capping failures or damaged caps.
Are the caps reusable?
No, crown caps are disposable. After removing with a bottle opener, the crimped edge is deformed and the seal is broken. Always use new caps for each bottling.
