Food Industry TPE-S Hose for Alcoholic Beverages

Professional hygienic TPE-S thermoplastic rubber hose equipped with steel spiral and textile reinforcements. Reliable in temperature range from -30°C to +100°C.

Main Applications

  • Beer, wine and cider transport
  • Handling of distillates up to 50% alcohol content
  • Sparkling wine and champagne production processes
  • Nitrogen and carbon dioxide transport

Hose Properties

  • Phthalate-free and plasticizer-free construction
  • Contains no animal derivatives
  • Bacteria growth resistant surface
  • Odorless and tasteless material
  • Preserves organoleptic properties of beverages

Technical Specification

  • Inner layer: white, smooth TPE-S rubber
  • Reinforcement: polyester fiber textile and steel spiral
  • Outer layer: red TPE-S rubber
  • FDA and EU 10/2011 certified

Food Compatibility Categories

  • Category A: foodstuffs pH > 4.5 and up to 10% alcohol
  • Category B: acidic foodstuffs pH < 4.5
  • Category C: products up to 20% alcohol
  • Category D1: products up to 50% alcohol

Quality Control

Tested with the following simulants: 3% acetic acid, 20% ethanol, and 50% ethanol. Testing period: 10 days at 40°C.
