Product Description

This is the upgraded malt pipe for the BrewZilla 35L model, used in conjunction with the 12-liter boiler extension. The extended malt pipe allows you to increase malt capacity from 7 kilograms to 10.5 kilograms as an efficient maximum, while total capacity increases from 9 kilograms to 13.5 kilograms. This gives you the opportunity to brew larger beer batches or higher gravity beers without having to invest in a completely new brewing system.

The malt pipe construction is made from quality 304 stainless steel, ensuring long service life and hygienic use. An innovative feature is the feet positioned halfway up at approximately the 300mm mark, allowing the malt pipe to be lifted in two stages. This additional function originated from the KegLand Facebook community suggestion and significantly simplifies malt pipe handling, especially when filled with grain. Furthermore, this feature is a great help for those who find it difficult to lift the malt pipe in one motion.

Usage Principle

The malt pipe is installed inside the BrewZilla or DigiBoil device together with the boiler extension. Grain is placed in the malt pipe, to which hot water is added. During the mashing process, water is pumped back up through the grain (recirculation), which helps extract sugars from the grain as efficiently as possible. After the mashing process, the malt pipe can be lifted in two stages thanks to the feet positioned halfway up, making grain removal and draining significantly easier and safer.

Important Information

The product does not include an additional Halo support ring. If you are using this with DigiBoil 35L + extension, you need to purchase the support ring separately. BrewZilla users can use the existing support ring by installing it higher on the extension. To use the recirculation arm, you also need to purchase a recirculation arm extension to ensure proper water flow during the mashing process.

The product is also compatible with the DigiBoil 35L model, allowing you to use a malt pipe on this device, which may not originally be equipped with a malt pipe.
