Filter 9.5mm (3/8") DuoTight 150 Micron
Usage: This filter strainer (150 Micron) is designed to remove larger particles easily and efficiently which helps protect your brewing equipment to home inline water filters. This can also be used as a light-duty keg to keg hop filter. Ensure you have cold crashed efficiently prior to use and sanitised.
Features: Made out of food-grade Acetal plastic. Duotight fittings are designed to work by simply pushing in the compatible and recommended tubing.
Technical data: Filtration: 150 Micron. Recommended tubing: EVABarrier 6.35mm ID x 9.5mm (3/8inch) OD.
⚠️ Important: This is ideally to be mounted near your water inlet away from direct sunlight. Always test for leaks prior to leaving them unattended. If your water supply exceeds 100psi, we recommend using an inline water filter and duotight reducers/splicers.

What particles does a 150 micron filter remove?
The 150 micron filter removes larger particles such as hop residue, trub, yeast aggregates and sediment. It is not designed for fine filtration or sterilization, but effectively protects downstream equipment such as pumps, faucets and inline water filters from clogging.
Which hose fits this filter?
The filter is designed for EVABarrier 6.35mm ID x 9.5mm (3/8") OD hose. Push the hose into the Duotight fitting all the way. Always check for leaks before leaving the system unattended under pressure.
Can it be used to transfer beer between kegs?
Yes, it can be used as a light hop filter between kegs. For best results, cold-stabilize the beer thoroughly before transfer and properly sanitize the filter to prevent contamination.
Is the filter cleanable and reusable?
Yes. The food grade acetal body can be disassembled, rinsed and sanitized with standard brewery cleaners. Check the net for damage between uses and replace if torn or clogged.
What pressure can this filter withstand?
The Duotight system is designed for typical brew and water line pressures. If the water supply exceeds 100psi, we recommend installing an inline pressure regulator with duotight reducers or connections to protect the filter and connections.
