Usage: Top-shelf polyester brew in a bag (BIAB) featuring 65-micron mesh with 1-inch reinforced webbing. The bags are 70cm x 85cm making them large enough to use in even pots that are 60 litres and over!

What is the BIAB brew bag used for?
BIAB (Brew In A Bag) is a method of brewing beer from grain, where crushed malt is placed in a mesh bag for mashing. The bag allows the wort to flow freely through and retains grain particles, simplifying the wort and making a separate mashing vessel unnecessary.
Which pot is this bag compatible with?
The dimensions of 70cm x 85cm make this bag ideal for brewing pots of 60 liters and larger. The large size ensures that the bag can extend over the edge of the pot with enough margin to hold 10-15 kg of grain.
Why 65 micron mesh?
The 65 micron mesh is fine enough to retain grain husks and particles while allowing sugars and wort to flow through efficiently. This balance results in a clear wort without clogging or excessively long mash times.
How to clean and store the bag?
After use, rinse thoroughly with hot water to remove grain residue, then wash with a mild brewery cleaner. Allow to dry completely before storing to prevent mold growth. Reinforced polyester construction withstands many brewing times.
Can be used with Ratchet Pulley?
Yes, the 1-inch reinforced webbing handles are designed to work with the Ratchet Pulley (product code KL04855, sold separately), allowing heavy grain bags to be lifted effortlessly and wort drained efficiently.
