ST7N filter plates with an accuracy of 0.4 microns are designed for fine filtration of juices, wines, ciders and other beverages. They remove fine particles, yeast residues and turbidity compounds, resulting in a clear and stable final product ready for bottling.
What is the maximum recommended working pressure?
The maximum recommended pressure difference is 1.20 bar. Exceeding this can damage the plates and reduce the filtration efficiency. We recommend starting with a lower pressure and gradually increasing as needed to extend the life of the tiles.
Are the filter plates reusable?
Filter plates are disposable accessories. After filtration, the plates become saturated with particles and lose their effectiveness. To ensure the best filtration results and hygiene standards, we recommend using new plates for each filtration cycle.
