Glycol Chiller IceMaster G40.1 with Digital Controller
Professional quality compact cooling and dispensing solution. G40.1 offers high performance for small to medium volume customers. Suitable for small bars, cafes, restaurants, or even increasingly popular mobile bars.
It's not uncommon for some craft beer producers to use this device for controlling fermentation temperature of their vessels, provided the vessels have thick insulating coverage. We don't recommend using this product for vessels over 500L capacity at normal 20°C room temperature.
Standard equipment includes a submersible pump impeller integrated into the device for efficiency and easier transport. G40 is fully enclosed, including a removable lid, which helps improve cooling efficiency due to reduced heat loss.
8mm 304 stainless steel tubing, ideal for compression fittings that connect to 6mm product line ends. These are located on the side of the device, making installation easier for commercial counter units with limited height. The ends are also compatible with duotight systems, allowing easy installation of 5mm x 8mm EVABarrier tubing. Ideally suited for use as a glycol system but can also be used as an ice bank.
We want to clarify that in a single pass, G40.1 can only lower your product temperature by 15°C. Therefore, we strongly recommend that if you're dispensing product in an area where temperatures exceed 30°C, use the G40.1 for only two product lines and double them through the device, i.e., create two circuits through the chiller.
Recommended Setup
G40 inlet and outlet ports are compatible with duotight system. We recommend using 8mm duotight connections or 8mm duotight elbows - many find elbows allow easier installation. These 8mm threaded duotight elbows work well too.
Our 5mm x 8mm EVABarrier is typically the right diameter for beer lines.
For submerged system setup, you'll also need strong silicone and clamps.
If not using as an ice bank, you'll also need propylene glycol.
