Usage: These 304 stainless steel 2200W weld-less elements are designed to fit a 32mm hole inside the wall of your brewing vessels or boilers. Highly recommended for your HLT, or even for a HERMS or RIMS setup. Suitable for distillers as well — it is possible to use a 50L keg and drop string onto the end of the power cord and pull through the keg without having to reach inside. Powerful enough for 50–100L boilers and vessels. Multiple elements may be required for larger volumes depending on the target temperature.

Warnings: If using directly in your mash tun to maintain temperature, we recommend using a power control chip 3600W to modify power output. Excessive power in direct contact with malted grain can cause scorching and off-flavours as temperature may not be evenly distributed around the element. We recommend using a temperature controller with appropriate thermowell or temperature probe.
