How do I choose the right hose clamp size?
Fit the clamp over the hose once it is pushed onto the barb or fitting and check that the resulting outer diameter falls comfortably within the clamp's adjustment range, not at the very end of its travel. Measuring the hose with the fitting inserted gives the most accurate result.
