How do I match this connector to my hose?
The barbed end is sized for a Ø25 mm hose, so choose hose whose inner diameter matches the 25 mm barb. A correct match lets the barb grip firmly; pushing it onto an undersized hose is difficult, while an oversized hose can leak or slip under pressure.
What does the 1" GAS thread connect to?
The threaded side is a 1-inch GAS thread, meant to screw onto a matching 1" GAS port on a pump, juice press, crusher or tank fitting. Confirm the equipment port is the same 1" GAS standard before connecting, as other thread standards will not seal.
How tight should the wing nut be?
