A two-part kit that takes apples and pears all the way to juice: first the fruit is crushed into an even mash, then the juice is pressed out. Made for the home garden and the small farm, for seasonal use.

Before first use, grease the threads of the press spindle with petroleum jelly or food-grade oil. We recommend halving larger apples before crushing.

What is included in the kit?

The kit contains the Star 14L frame press with its stainless steel pressing basket, juice tray and filter bag, and the ECO 7L crusher with hand crank and legs. Nothing else is needed to start pressing juice.

Do I really need the crusher, or is the press enough?

A press cannot squeeze whole apples — the juice stays locked in the pulp. Crushed fruit fills the basket evenly and releases far more juice, which is why the crusher and the press belong together.

How much fruit can be processed at a time?

The pressing basket holds 14 L, which is one pressing cycle. For larger quantities the cycle is repeated: crushing, filling the basket, pressing and removing the pomace.

How do I clean and maintain the kit?

Rinse the pressing basket, juice tray, pressing plate and the crusher rollers with warm water after every use. Use food-safe cleaning agents, avoid abrasives and dry the parts before storage.

Can I press without the filter bag?

Yes. Without the bag you get juice with more pulp; with the supplied filter bag the juice is clearer and the pomace is easier to lift out of the basket.
