It is a model-specific accessory dimensioned to the exact footprint of the Bigbox 610L box, so ordering them together guarantees a correct, secure fit. A lid bought separately for a different box family will not seat properly.
Does the lid allow filled boxes to be stacked safely?
Yes. The lid is designed so boxes can be stacked while protecting the contents and helping distribute the load above. Make sure boxes sit level and are not loaded beyond their rated capacity before stacking.
How should the lid be cleaned and stored to last?
It is food-grade plastic, so it can be washed with standard cleaning agents and rinsed with water. Store it flat and out of prolonged direct sunlight, since years of UV exposure can gradually make plastic brittle.
