What is the cooling capacity of this plate cooler?
The chiller processes 5,440 l/h of liquid to be cooled with a cooling water flow rate of 15,840 l/h. The achievable temperature difference is 4 °C, which is perfect for cooling milk immediately after milking.
Why does the inflow amount have to be three times the feed flow rate?
This ratio provides efficient heat transfer between the two media and allows the feedstock to reach the target temperature in one pass, without recirculation.
What materials is the plate cooler made of?
All parts in contact with the product are made of food-grade stainless steel (AISI 304). The plates are laser treated to achieve hygienic standards with a smooth surface that meet the requirements of the food and dairy industry.
Can the cooler be completely disassembled for cleaning?
Yes. The plate cooler is completely removable, which allows for thorough manual cleaning, inspection of seals and replacement of individual plates if necessary.
Are models with higher productivity also available?
Yes. In addition to this 78+1 element model, we offer plate coolers with a capacity of up to 21,000 l/h, suitable for various farm and dairy production volumes.
