How does a sparkling-wine stopper keep an opened bottle fizzy?
It clamps onto the bottle rim and seals against the glass so the dissolved carbon dioxide stays in the wine instead of escaping. Sealing the bottle promptly after pouring preserves the bubbles and flavour for longer.
How do you fit and remove the stopper correctly?
Place it over the bottle mouth and press the sealing part down until the gripping arms lock under the rim, then reverse the action to release. Make sure the rim is clean and dry so the silicone gasket seats against an even surface.
How should it be cleaned and stored?
Rinse it with warm water after each use and let it dry fully before storing, paying attention to the gasket where residue can collect. Keeping the gasket clean preserves its elasticity and the airtight fit.
Which bottles does it fit?
It is made for standard champagne and sparkling-wine bottles, which share a heavier reinforced rim. It is not intended for still-wine bottles with a plain cork finish, where it cannot grip securely.
