Pressure regulator 1 5" TC horizontal with pressure gauge
Pressure Regulator with Pressure Gauge 1.5" TC, Horizontal
The pressure regulator with pressure gauge allows for precise pressure fermentation and/or beer conditioning in Unitank fermenters before transferring to a keg. An ideal solution for brewers who want to adjust pressure on the fly without having to compare the release valve pressure with a gauge. Perfectly suited for the blow-off pipe of our commercial stainless steel tanks. It can also be adapted for use with larger home brewing tanks.
Using the pressure regulator allows for more precise control of the fermentation process, which in turn improves the quality of the beverage. Pressure fermentation helps preserve aromas and reduces the effect of oxygen during fermentation.
Technical specifications:
- Size: 1.5" Tri-Clover connection
- Pressure gauge: 0.2 - 2.2 bar (2.9 - 32 psi)
- Position: horizontal
- Material: stainless steel
⚠️ Important: ⚠️ Pressure equipment — operates under pressure. Max working pressure: 2.2 bar. Exceeding the working pressure may cause deformation. Use a pressure gauge.
Frequently asked questions about KL22323
What is the maximum working pressure?
The maximum working pressure is 2.2 bar (32 psi). Exceeding this may cause deformation or leakage. During fermentation, always monitor the integrated pressure gauge and, if necessary, release excess pressure via the valve.
What requirements is it compatible with?
Fits all vessels with a 1.5" Tri-Clover connection, including our commercial Unitank fermentation vessels. Typically mounts on vent pipe and fits larger homebrew systems with TC seal and clamp.
Why use pressure fermentation?
Fermentation under pressure preserves volatile aromas, reduces oxygen ingress and limits the formation of esters at higher temperatures. It also allows natural carbonation already during fermentation, shortening the process and improving the stability of the beer.
What material is the regulator made of?
The body is made of stainless steel, which ensures corrosion resistance, food safety and a long service life. Suitable for CIP cleaning and repeated use in the brewing environment, provided that the working pressure is not exceeded.
Is the pressure gauge replaceable?
Yes, the manometer can be replaced if necessary if it is damaged or if you want a different scale. Use at least a 2.2 bar manometer with a suitable thread. Always depressurize the vessel before disassembly.
