Which liquids and conditions is this pump suitable for?
It is made for food liquids that carry solids - such as must, juice, wine and milk - with a pH of 3-11 and temperatures up to 35°C; it is not intended for hot liquids or thick products above about 3 CPS viscosity.
What does the 200µ / 80-mesh pre-filter actually do?
The 80-mesh safety cartridge removes solid particles from the liquid as it is pumped, so you transfer and rough-filter in a single step and protect downstream equipment from debris.
How far can it draw and push liquid?
Suction depth is about 1.5 m, or up to 2.5 m fitted with a foot valve, and it can push up to roughly 2.0 m of discharge height, so position the pump within those limits relative to your tanks.
How should it be cared for, and can it get wet?
Rinse and clean the 80-mesh cartridge after each use to prevent clogging; the IP X4 rating means it is splash-protected only, so it must never be submerged or hosed down directly.
