How should I prepare firmer fruit before pressing?
For denser produce such as apples or tomatoes, lightly heat-treat (soften) them first. Pre-softening improves juice yield and lets the 400W motor and screw work more efficiently than feeding hard, raw pieces.
How do I keep the press working well between uses?
Disassemble the funnel, composite screw and stainless cone filter and clean them promptly after each session, before pulp dries on. The unit is built for quick disassembly, and clearing residue from the cone filter keeps extraction efficient.
What should I keep in mind about the feed opening?
The input opening is relatively narrow, so cut produce into pieces that pass through easily rather than forcing oversized chunks. Feeding appropriately sized pieces protects the screw and keeps a steady throughput within the 70-140 kg/h range.
