Product Description
The Super Sucker 1/2" BSP self-priming siphon pump is the fastest and most convenient solution for moving beer, wine, cider, or strong alcoholic beverages between containers. Transfer liquids from primary to secondary fermenter or from fermenter to keg without excess oxygen exposure that occurs with manual siphon pumping or blowing into the fermenter lid.
Simply connect the transfer hose from the fermenter tap to the pump and then to the receiving container, press the switch, and let the Super Sucker pump do the work while you enjoy a cold drink.
With the Super Sucker pump, you don't need gravity or CO2 pressure to move liquid. Thanks to the pump's remarkable maximum lift height, you can leave the heavy, full fermenter on the ground and place the receiving keg or fermenter beside it or even higher, such as on a work surface.

Working Principle
The siphon pump uses an electric motor to create a vacuum that draws liquid from one container and pushes it into another. This allows pumping liquids without manual effort and ensures steady and controlled flow rate.
Frequently asked questions about this product
What does self priming mean and why is it better than a manual siphon?
Self priming means the pump draws the liquid itself, so you do not have to start the flow by sucking the tube or lifting the vessel. This avoids the mess and the oxygen pickup that come with starting a traditional gravity siphon by mouth.
Why does it help reduce oxidation of the finished drink?
Manual siphoning or blowing into the fermenter lid to start a siphon introduces air into the beverage. Moving the liquid through the closed pump path instead minimises contact with oxygen, which helps preserve the flavour and shelf life of beer, wine or cider.
Can the receiving container sit higher than the source?
Yes. Unlike a gravity siphon, the pump can move liquid even when the receiving vessel is level with or higher than the source container. This gives flexible placement when transferring between primary and secondary fermenters or from fermenter to keg.
Is it suitable for high strength spirits?
It is tested for beverages up to 10 percent ethanol, such as beer, wine and cider, so it suits normal fermentation transfers. For high proof spirits it is outside the tested range, so check compatibility before using it for stronger liquids.
