Sparge ball kit 180, 20mm with hose connector
Usage: Used during the sparge phase for distribution of water when brewing, mounted on thick motorised pot lids of 300L and above.
Properties: Made entirely of stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance; suitable for use with 20mm internal diameter hoses. Components: AISI 316 ∅50mm sparge ball, AISI 304 DN15 valve, AISI 304 adapter, AISI 304 curved hose connector, red fibre gasket.
Technical data: Ball in AISI 316; all connecting parts in AISI 304; fits hoses of 20mm internal diameter; for pots 300L and above.

What bag sizes is this soak ball kit compatible with?
The set is designed for motorized brew bags 300L and larger with thick lids. Before installation, check that the attachment point of the cover fits the DN15 connection. It is not suitable for smaller home use bags or non-motorized setups.
What materials does the set consist of?
The soaking ball itself is made of AISI 316 stainless steel for better corrosion resistance, the DN15 valve, adapter and curved hose connection are made of AISI 304 material. The red fiber seal ensures a tight and food-safe connection at the threaded joint.
What diameter hose is the connection suitable for?
The curved hose connection is measured for hoses with an inner diameter of 20 mm. Use a food-safe hose clamp to secure the hose and prevent leaks under working pressure during the soaking phase.
Is the kit suitable for food and brewing applications?
Yes, all components are made of food-safe stainless steel (AISI 316 / AISI 304). Ensure thorough cleaning and disinfection of all parts before first use and between brewing batches to maintain hygiene.
How is the water distributed through the soaker ball?
Water flows through a DN15 valve ∅50mm perforated ball, which sprays water evenly on the surface of the grain layer during soaking. This ensures uniform extraction of sugars and improves brewing efficiency.
