Usage: This Nukatap mini & Nukatap FC spring is designed to suit all Nukatap Mini taps and also the Nukatap FC tap. This custom made 304 grade spring size is designed specifically to ensure your Nukatap stays closed when it should.
Features: Simple let go of the tap handle and the tap will snap shut and prevent accidentally leaving the tap on and emptying the keg onto the floor. This handy inexpensive device suits all Nukatap Mini and Nukatap FC taps and shank combinations.

The NukaTap Mini and the NukaTap FC (Gen2) self-closing. It is the self-close spring for those models, not for the standard SS tap.
What does the self-closing spring actually do?
Release the handle and it snaps the tap shut, so you cannot accidentally leave the tap open and drain the keg.
Why is it 304 stainless?
The 304-grade spring resists corrosion in the wet beverage path and keeps its tension, so the tap keeps closing reliably over time.
When should I replace it?
