Adapter 2" TC x 1/4" x 9.5mm DuoTight for carbonation stone stainless steel
Usage: Professional carbonation accessory designed for home and bar beer brewing. When used in conjunction with KL30465 - 0.22 Micron Carbonation Stone Rod - 150mm x 1/4 Inch Male Thread x 9.5mm duotight compatible thread, it provides an easy way to carbonate your fermented beer.
Features: Made of high quality stainless steel material - environmental protection, non-toxicity and durable. 9.5mm duotight compatible gas inlet. High separation and permeation efficiency, low filtration resistance and acid-alkali corrosion resistance. Carbonation stones are typically designed to be directly mounted on brite beer fermentation tanks. In an ideal system, the stone is mounted on the lowest part of the brite tank providing for the longest distance for CO2 to travel to the head.

Frequently asked questions about this product
How does this differ from the 1.5 inch version?
It is the same carbonation-stone adapter but with a 2 inch Tri-Clover flange, for tanks or ports that use a 2 inch clamp; the 1/4 inch stone thread and 9.5mm gas barb are the same.
What connects to each end?
A carbonation stone with a 1/4 inch male thread screws into the 1/4 inch female side, and a 9.5mm DuoTight gas line pushes onto the barb.
Why mount the stone low in the tank?
Mounting it at the lowest point gives CO2 the longest path to the surface, which improves how completely it dissolves into the beer.
What cleaning does it need?
Sanitise the stone and adapter before and after each carbonation, since the micro-pores trap residue and must be kept clear for even bubble dispersion.
