What fruits can be processed with this press?
The Maurer MSP belt press is suitable for continuous extraction of juice from various fruits - apples, pears, grapes, berries and stone fruits (after removing the bones). The closed construction minimizes oxidation, preserving color and aroma, making it suitable for cider, wine and juice production.
What is the actual juice yield?
The juice separation efficiency reaches up to 75%, depending on the raw material and its preparation. Properly crushed apples with sufficient malting usually yield 70-75%, for berries and soft fruits the yield may be slightly lower. The built-in frequency converter allows precise adjustment of the tape speed.
Is the machine easy to clean?
Yes, the double rotating washing system at the bottom of the machine ensures thorough cleaning of the belt during operation. A high-pressure washer is used for CIP cleaning (water consumption 500 L/h). All contact surfaces are AISI 304 stainless steel, meeting the hygiene requirements of the food industry.
What are the necessary connections for installation?
The press needs a three-phase 400 V electrical connection (3 kW, 6 A), compressed air with a pressure of 6 bar (consumption 50 L/h) and a water connection for the washing system (500 L/h). Adjustable anti-vibration feet allow installation on a standard industrial floor without special foundations.
Does the device meet EU food safety requirements?
Yes. The construction uses AISI 304 (WNr. 1.4301) stainless steel and food-safe polyester tape, meeting EU regulations for food contact materials. The electrical system is IP65 certified for use in humid environments and the unit is marked CE.
