Are the lids included in the set of jars?
No, covers are sold separately. You can choose between B64 or CDL compatible covers depending on your closing device. Please order lids with jars to ensure compatibility with your canning line.
What material are the cans made of?
The cans are made of aluminum suitable for contact with food, the inner surface of which is covered with a coating suitable for beer. Aluminum provides a 100% oxygen and light barrier, which is essential to maintain beer freshness.
Why are the cans black?
The black exterior provides a professional and clean look that is ideal for installing your own labels or film sleeves. It also protects the aluminum surface from scratches during handling and transportation.
What if the cans arrive slightly dented?
Slight denting during shipping is normal due to the thin walls of empty aluminum cans. Once filled and sealed, the cans become rigid and fully functional. For mail orders, we recommend ordering a little more than you need.
Can these cans be used for carbonated beverages other than beer?
Yes, they can be used for any carbonated beverage, including cider, hard seltzer, kombucha, and soft drinks. The inner coating is safe for contact with food and is suitable for acidic and carbonated liquids.
