Why does the beverage need to be chilled before carbonating?
Carbon dioxide dissolves far better in cold liquid, so carbonating chilled beverages lets you reach the desired fizz with less gas and more stability. Warm liquid holds less CO2 and tends to foam and lose carbonation quickly.
How does the flow-through, pump-circulation method work?
The pump circulates the beverage through the unit, where it passes the carbonation stone that injects fine CO2 bubbles. Circulating the liquid gives uniform and efficient gas distribution rather than carbonating just one spot.
What is the viewing window for?

What does the fine stone porosity do?
