Frequently asked questions about 005-0003-0001
What drinks is this pump suitable for?
GG EP-Neos is designed for low viscosity liquids such as wine, juice, cider, wort and water. It is not suitable for thick products such as syrups, with solid particles of yeast or pulp, as the centrifugal impeller may be damaged or blocked.
Are the parts in contact with the product suitable for food?
Yes, all parts in contact with the liquid are stainless steel and suitable for the food and beverage industry. The pump can be cleaned and disinfected before and after each transfer, which ensures the level of hygiene required in wine and juice production.
How does bypass flow control work?
An integrated bypass allows you to adjust the output current without changing the motor speed. When the bypass valve is opened, some of the liquid is directed back into the inlet, reducing the effective productivity and allowing gentle filling of bottles, tanks or filters.
What are the electrical requirements?
The pump operates on standard 230V single-phase mains voltage and consumes 0.22kW, making it suitable for small and medium-sized wineries, home winemakers and mobile use. A standard grounded outlet is sufficient for work.
What is the maximum productivity?
Nominal productivity is 1700L/h at 2800 rpm with open discharge. Actual throughput depends on suction height, hose diameter, filter resistance and fluid viscosity. For best results, use short hoses with a 3/4" ID that matches the pump connections.
