48x29.5mm agglomerated caps are designed for standard cider and sparkling wine bottles with an inner neck diameter of 17.5-18mm. When closed, the cap compresses and then expands, creating a tight, pressure-resistant closure suitable for carbonated beverages.

What does micro 0.5/1mm granule size mean?

0.5/1mm refers to the size of the natural cork granules pressed into the cork and glued together. The finer granule provides a smoother, denser surface and better sealing performance than conventional agglomerated caps, making it ideal for pressurized beverages.

Can I have my logo printed on the caps?

Do caps need a wire basket (muselet)?

Yes, for sparkling wine and highly carbonated cider, a wire basket is strongly recommended to secure the cap against internal CO2 pressure. Lightly carbonated ciders may still be corked without a basket, depending on the level of carbonation.

Store the caps in their original packaging in a clean, dry environment at a temperature of 15-25°C and a relative humidity of 50-70%. Avoid direct sunlight, strong smells and temperature fluctuations. Use within the recommended time to maintain elasticity and sealability.
