The Peracid detergent, sold in 10 kg packs, is an oxidising liquid sanitizer based on peracetic acid, acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide, with a broad spectrum of activity, suitable for use in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries and in the zootechnical.

Based on a solution of stabilized peracetic acid to form a formulation with a broad spectrum of activity, being effective on bacteria, mould, yeasts and spores, it is a non-foaming detergent, easy to rinse, sensitive to organic substances and insensitive to water hardness.

Thanks to these characteristics, the 10 kg Peracid detergent is recommended for use in recirculating systems (Cip washing) where it can be applied with automatic injection dosing systems. The oxidizing action also allows you to obtain deodorizing and bleaching properties.

How to use:

Use Peracid with concentrations varying from 0.2% to 1% depending on the type and degree of contamination present. Contact times range from 5 to 30 minutes depending on the desired effect. It is advisable to use solutions prepared at the time of use, used at room temperature. Final rinse with drinking water until all possible residues have been completely eliminated. The formulation must not come into direct or indirect contact with food.

It is not recommended allowing the liquid to remain inside the cleaning systems  for a long time, especially in the presence of water containing chloride concentrations higher than 25 mg/L.

Fields of application:

Recirculating sanitation of closed circuits (pipes, tanks, filling machines). Treatment of instruments, removable parts and tools in immersion. Sanitization of molds and bottles (glass and PET) at the end of washing. Treatment of milking systems in the zootechnical sector.

Formulation compatibility:

The Peracid detergent is compatible with most materials normally present in the food industry if used according to the manufacturer's instructions. Do not use on copper, bronze and aluminium. In case of doubt, evaluate the individual material before use.

Store in the original packaging away from extreme temperatures and direct light. Consult the safety data sheet.
