Dispense head A-type Lindr
The Lindr A-type dispense head is a high-quality device for dispensing beer and other beverages from a keg. The A-type dispense head fits all standard A-type kegs.
Operating principle. The dispense head is attached to the keg and creates the connection between the beverage line and CO2/air pressure. The A-type dispense head is particularly widespread in Germany (also known as Slider or Flat coupling). Through the dispense head, pressurized gas is directed into the keg, which pushes the beverage through the line system in the cooler and to the tap.
The A-type dispense head features a flat design enabling the use of kegs with lower profile. Suitable for most European brewery kegs, including Paulaner, Spaten and other German brands.

How do I know whether I need an A-type or another coupler?
The coupler type is determined by the valve fitting on the keg, not by the beer brand. The A-type (also called Slider or Flat coupling) is especially common on German brewery kegs such as Paulaner and Spaten. Always match the head to the keg's valve, not to the label.
How does the dispense head actually work?
It clamps onto the keg valve and links the gas line and the beverage line. Pressurised CO2 or air enters through the head and pushes the beverage up the beverage line, through the cooler and out to the tap.
Why is the flat profile of the A-type useful?
Its low, flat design lets you connect kegs in spaces with limited vertical clearance, such as under-counter or compact cooler installations where a taller coupler would not fit.
How should the head be cleaned to avoid off-flavours?
Run line-cleaning solution through it regularly and rinse well. Yeast and beerstone left in the coupler are a common cause of off-flavours and stuck or foamy pours, so include the head in every cleaning cycle.
