What power supply does this cooker require?
It runs on a 400 V three-phase supply and draws 18,600 W in total, so it needs a suitable three-phase electrical connection rather than a standard single-phase socket.
How should the cast-iron plates be used and cared for?
The six round 220 mm plates deliver 2.6 kW each and heat by conduction, so flat-bottomed pans give the best contact. Cast iron should be kept dry and wiped clean rather than flooded with water, to prevent rust.
What does the built-in convection oven hold?
The 3 kW electric convection oven takes up to four GN 1/1 on chromium rails spaced 75 mm apart; the rails are removable for thorough cleaning, and one GN 1/1 grate is included.
Why choose solid-plate electric hobs over open burners?
Sealed cast-iron plates have no open flame, are easy to wipe down and spread heat evenly across the plate, which is practical where gas is unavailable or where a flat, stable surface for heavy pots is preferred.
