Fine-mesh flour sieve (150 mesh), stainless steel
Product Description
Stainless Steel SUS304: The sieve mesh is made of food grade stainless steel SUS304, known for its durable and lasting structure. It provides excellent water resistance and corrosion resistance, ensuring healthiness and hygiene. It can be used independently for simple daily tasks or efficiently installed on our vibrating sieves.
Available in different sizes: Our sieve mesh is available in 5 different mesh sizes (10/12/40/80/150 mesh), allowing you to choose a suitable flour sieve according to your needs. Different sizes and degrees of fineness meet various requirements.
Efficient sieving: Our sieve mesh has uniformly fine and dense holes, making flour fluffy and lump-free. The mesh surface is taut and smooth with clear lines, ensuring both fine sieving and efficient results.
Easy to clean and use: The high-gloss polished surface is bright, easy to clean, and maintains its appearance for a long time. Smooth edges ensure safety and comfort in handling.
Wide application: Widely used in restaurants, bakeries, mills, home kitchens, etc. Ideal for sifting and filtering additives and lumps from dry ingredients such as flour, sugar, and spices, as well as grains like beans, rice, and pasta.

Usage Principle
The flour sieve is used for sifting dry powdery substances, removing lumps and ensuring uniform consistency. Place the sieve over a container, add the substance to be sifted, and gently shake or rub it through the mesh. The fine 150-mesh sieve is particularly suitable for processing very fine powders, such as confectionery flour or starch.
Frequently asked questions about this product
What does the mesh number mean when choosing a flour sieve?
Mesh is the number of wire openings per inch, so a higher number means finer, denser holes. This is the 150-mesh version. The sieve is offered in 10, 12, 40, 80 and 150 mesh — pick a low number (10–12) for coarse sifting and grains, and a high number (80–150) for fine flour and icing sugar.
Can the sieve be used on its own, or only with a machine?
Both. You can hold it or rest it over a bowl for hand sifting, or fit it onto a compatible vibrating sieve when you need higher throughput.
Besides flour, what else can I sift or strain with it?
The food-grade SUS304 mesh also handles sugar, ground spices and grains, and its corrosion resistance means it can strain liquids too, not just dry ingredients.
How should I clean it so the mesh stays accurate?
Rinse it right after use and brush the mesh gently from the underside so particles do not clog the openings, then dry it fully. Avoid denting the mesh, because a bent screen changes the opening size and the sifting result.
