What temperature does the heating pad heat up to?
The HEND warming tray automatically heats up to 95°C, which is the ideal storage temperature for most prepared dishes. This temperature keeps the food safely above the HACCP danger zone (minimum 63°C) and at the same time prevents the dish from overcooking and drying out during serving.
Does the tray fit standard gastronorm containers?
Yes, the base is in GN 1/1 format (530x325mm) and fits all standard gastronorm 1/1 containers and lids. Smaller GN sections (1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/6) can also be installed with the help of dividers.
Can the stand be placed directly on the tabletop?
Yes. The base has an insulated bottom that prevents heat transfer to the surface under the base. This allows for safe placement on a buffet table, wooden counter or regular serving surface without risk of damage.
Which Thermobox devices does the base fit with?
The warming tray is designed to work with HENDI Thermobox Kitchen Line GN 1/1 and larger thermoboxes, more precisely with product codes 707906, 707968, 707951 and 707944. This combination allows ready-made food to be transported and served warm.
What is the power consumption?
The heating base works on a standard 230V mains voltage with a power of only 190W, which ensures energy-efficient continuous use. A standard Schuko plug is used for connection.
