What is the advantage of the built-in 3/4 valve?
It lets you drain juice straight from the bottom into bottles or a pump without lifting and tipping a heavy full vessel, which is safer and avoids stirring up settled sediment.
At over 60kg empty, how should a full unit be handled?
Position it on a stable, load-rated surface or trolley before filling and drain it through the valve rather than carrying it full; a full charge of liquid adds far more weight than the vessel itself.
How do you keep the valve hygienic?
Open and flush the valve during every wash so juice residue cannot dry inside the bore, and periodically dismantle it to clean the seat; a neglected tap is the most common place for off-flavours and mould to start.
Is it only for juice, or can it hold other foods?
The food-grade stainless body suits berry and fruit processing, liquid handling and general food storage; just keep strongly coloured or aromatic batches separate when cleaning to avoid carry-over.
