Why is this container wide and shallow rather than tall?
The wide, low shape sits under a press to catch falling juice over a large area and is easy to scoop or pump from, whereas a tall narrow vessel would be awkward to position beneath the press frame.
How do I know it will fit my juice press?
Check that its 470mm diameter clears your press base and that the press outlet height leaves room above the rim; most bench and basket presses in this class drain into a pan of these proportions.
Why is stainless steel important specifically for fruit juice?
Fresh juice is acidic and would corrode plain steel and pick up a metallic taste; food-grade stainless resists that acid, so the juice keeps its true flavour and the vessel stays stain-free.
What is the best way to clean it after a pressing run?
Rinse immediately while pulp is still wet, then wash with warm water and a mild detergent and dry it; dried-on fruit sugars are much harder to remove and can attract fruit flies.
