FineCap Tin-Saran is a non-threaded aluminium capsule for bottling wines and beverages. The ALKOvin™ tin liner forms precisely around the bottle aperture, reducing oxygen ingress to zero and providing excellent long-term aroma protection for up to 7 years.

How long does this capsule-sealed wine last?
ALKOvin™ Tin-Saran seal provides aroma protection for up to 7 years under standard storage conditions (5-35°C, 30-80% humidity). The tin/PVDC film molds precisely around the mouth of the bottle, preventing the ingress of oxygen and maintaining the quality of the wine during the long maturation period.
What is the maximum allowable pressure of the capsule?
The capsule is intended for an internal pressure of up to 3 bar. It is suitable for still wines and spirits, but not for sparkling wines or carbonated products that require high pressure tolerance.
Can the capsules be custom printed?
Yes. Overprint is available in up to 8 colors and side screen printing in up to 4 colors. As additional options, we offer hot stamping and embossing, which allows full branding customization for the winery or beverage producer.
What is the correct fill level when using these capsules?
Keep 2% headspace at 20°C. After bottling, keep the bottles upright for 30 minutes to ensure proper capsule installation. Always check for leakage before each bottling cycle, as performance depends on machine settings and bottle neck geometry.
How many capsules are in one package?
Each box contains 1,300 pieces and a whole tray holds 25,000 pieces. The weight is approximately 4.6 kg per 1000 capsules, depending on the coating specification.
