Professional tank mixer Size II by A&T Schneider for mixing wine, beer, juices and other non-corrosive liquids in production volumes. The collapsible propeller design allows connection to a full tank – the propeller opens automatically upon start-up. The included frequency inverter enables precise speed control tailored to the liquid and process requirements. All parts in contact with liquid are made of stainless steel 1.4301 (AISI 304).

Can the mixer be connected to a full tank?

Yes. The collapsible propeller design is specially designed to connect to a full tank. The propeller blades remain in the folded position when inserted through the DN32 fitting and open automatically when the engine starts under the influence of centrifugal force. This eliminates the need to empty the tank before installing the mixer.

What liquids is the stirrer suitable for?

The stirrer is designed for non-corrosive liquids such as wine, beer, juices, wort, water and other food-grade products. All parts in contact with the liquid are made of stainless steel 1.4301 (AISI 304), in compliance with the requirements of EG 1935/2004 for contact with food. The mixer is not suitable for strongly acidic, chlorinated or abrasive liquids.

Why is a frequency converter important?

The frequency converter allows smooth speed control from low, gentle homogenization (e.g. sediment mixing or yeast suspension) to intensive mixing at full speed of 1400 rpm. This adaptability protects delicate products from oxidation and mechanical damage.

What tank size is the Size II mixer suitable for?

With a maximum mixing capacity of 35,000 l/h and a 163mm propeller, the Size II model is suitable for approximately 2,000-15,000 liter tanks, depending on the geometry of the tank and the viscosity of the liquid. For larger containers, we recommend Size III or IV models.

What maintenance does the blender need?

Regular maintenance includes cleaning after each use (CIP compliant), inspection of the mechanical seal and propeller mechanism, and periodic lubrication of the reducer according to the manufacturer's schedule. The warranty is 2 years, excluding consumable parts such as seals and bearings.
