Frequently asked questions about ABP0120
I turn the tap all the way in, but it won't stay straight. How to fix it?
It is not necessary to turn on the faucet all the way. Just tighten it so that the faucet stays straight before reaching the end of the thread. This ensures correct position and leak-free operation.
Can this pot be used on a gas or electric stove?
Yes, the pot is suitable for gas burners and standard electric hotplates. But it is NOT suitable for an induction cooker due to the grade of stainless steel used. In case of an open flame, ensure even heat distribution.
What is the maximum working capacity for grinding?
For safe mashing, we recommend filling the pot to about 80% of the total volume, approximately 120L, to avoid overflow during mixing and boiling. This leaves enough free space for the malt to expand and foam to form.
Is AISI 304 food grade and safe for brewing beer?
Yes, AISI 304 (18/10) is a certified food grade stainless steel widely used in the brewing and food industries. It is corrosion resistant, taste neutral and does not react with acidic musts or mash.
How to clean and maintain the pot?
Wash after each use with warm water and a non-abrasive detergent. Avoid steel wool and chlorine-based cleaners. Clean the faucet by periodically disassembling it. Dry completely before storing to avoid water marks.
