Frequently asked questions about KL27144
Does the faucet head come with a spout?
No, the 8L container shown in the photos is not included. This kit only includes the PCO38 faucet head, 2.5bar pressure relief valve, ball lock connections and deep tube. The holder must be purchased separately.
What is the maximum working pressure?
The integrated overpressure valve is set to 2.5bar. Exceeding this working pressure can cause deformation of the rod or fittings. Always use a pressure gauge to monitor system pressure when carbonating and dispensing.
Which bottles and trays are suitable?
The faucet head is designed for standard PCO38 bottle necks and 8L PCO38 risers. It has the same thread profile as regular PET carbonation bottles, making it versatile for home brewing and beverages.
Can be used for wine and spirits?
Yes, the kit is suitable for wine, beer, cocktails and other drinks. However, some plant extracts, tinctures or aggressive liquids can damage the plastic after prolonged contact. Verification of suitability is the responsibility of the executor or manufacturer.
What temperatures can it withstand?
The plastics used can withstand relatively high temperatures, over 100°C, as well as many chemicals used in the brewing industry for cleaning and disinfection. This makes the set durable for repeated use and thorough hygiene cycles.
