Regulator & Spunding Valve RAPT digital
Usage: This single device can be used in two different directions. In one direction it can be used as a spunding valve. Reverse the gas flow through the device and you can turn the same device into a regulator. When switching from regulator to spunding valve you will also need to select the configuration in the settings menu.
Features: Easy teardown - this product comes with clips on either side so it's easy to take apart for cleaning. The housing can be opened without the need for tools. RAPT Connected - as this is a RAPT device it can be registered to the RAPT platform and be used to log, monitor and control the fermentation process remotely. This device connects directly to your WIFI and can work in conjunction with other RAPT products such as the RAPT Temp Controller, RAPT Pill Hydrometer and the growing family of other RAPT internet connected products. Integrates into RAPT Chamber - upgrade your RAPT Fermentation chamber with this device. This device mounts into the display of your RAPT fermentation chamber so the pressure can be displayed digitally on the front.
For Spunding: Digitally control your spunding pressures! This handy device is one of the last key components to completely digitally control the fermentation process. Setup profiles that have small amounts of pressure at the beginning of the fermentation process then ramp up the pressure as the fermentation process slows down.
For Regulating: This device can be used to digitally control the gas pressure into kegs, fermenters, kegerators or any other pressurised system including compressed air. Simply set the pressure digitally and the valve will open and close to control the pressure into the pressure vessel.

Spunding Valve mode - Pressure rating: 0-1.5Bar (22psi), Failsafe: YES (when power is off the pressure will still release at 1.5bar (22psi) max). Regulator mode - Pressure rating: 0-8Bar (115psi), Failsafe: YES (when power is off no gas will flow through the regulator into the pressure vessel).
⚠️ Warnings: If hops, krausen or other products go through this valve please take it apart and clean immediately. Blockages from liquid or solids going through the valve can prevent the valve from opening and cause excessive pressure to build up in the fermenter. The simple solution is to choose a fermenter with adequate head space to prevent this issue.
