Tri-Clamp D50.5mm for DIN 32676 fitting stainless steel

What does the DIN 32676 standard guarantee when joining equipment?
DIN 32676 is an international standard for hygienic clamp (tri-clamp) connections. A clamp, ferrule and gasket of the same size that all follow this standard fit together regardless of manufacturer and form a hermetic, easy-to-clean joint.
Do I need to order a gasket separately?
Yes. The clamp only provides the mechanical clamping force; the actual seal is made by a separate gasket placed between the two ferrules. Choose a gasket in the same size and in a material suited to your product, for example NBR or EPDM.
What is the maximum working pressure?
The connection is rated up to 16 bar, which covers pumping, filtration and CIP cleaning in juice, wine, beer and dairy lines. Do not exceed this limit.
How do I keep the connection hygienic and long-lasting?
Rinse and clean it after each use, inspect the gasket regularly and replace it once it hardens or deforms, and avoid over-tightening, which can distort the gasket and cause leaks.
