What is the gasket made of and why white NBR?
It is made of food-grade white nitrile rubber (NBR). The white colour makes any contamination easy to spot, and NBR resists oils, fats and many of the cleaning agents used in food processing.
Which connections do these gaskets fit?
They are designed for DIN 32676 tri-clamp connections. Match the gasket size to the ferrule size so the seal sits correctly and the joint stays hermetic.
When should the gasket be replaced?
