What is the difference between channel and smooth vacuum bags?
Channeled (embossed) vacuum bags have internal grooves that allow air to move freely during vacuuming. Thanks to this, they are suitable for external (chamberless) vacuum packaging. Smooth bags can only be used with chamber machines. These 300x400mm channel bags are the standard choice for home and semi-professional kitchens where external packers are used.
Are these bags safe for sous vide cooking?
