What fruits is this washer suitable for?
Maurer MM is designed for apples, pears, quinces, stone fruits, tomatoes and stronger berries. A gentle bath-rinse with a spray of clean water removes dirt, leaves and residues without damaging the fruit. For very soft berries, we recommend reducing the belt speed.
How much water does the machine consume?
The bath has a capacity of 280 L, which circulates during operation. The flow of fresh washing water is 20-100 L/h depending on the degree of soiling of the fruit. The ¾" quick coupling enables quick connection to a standard water network.
Is the machine easy to clean?
Yes. AISI 304 stainless steel construction and polypropylene/acetal modular belt for quick cleaning. The tape can be run in both directions for rinsing and all surfaces are accessible without tools.
What power supply is required?
The washer requires a 400 V three-phase power supply, 16 A protection, total consumption 0.75 kW. The electronics are IP65 rated for wet environments.
Can the tape speed be adjusted?
Yes, the belt speed is smoothly adjustable in both forward and reverse directions, allowing optimization of the washing time for different fruits and degrees of soiling.
