Why does each output have its own shut-off tap?
The taps let you isolate or service one line without depressurising the whole system, and you can close an unused output to stop CO2 leaking through it.
Does splitting the CO2 supply reduce the pressure to each device?
No. The splitter is designed to deliver equal, stable pressure to both outputs simultaneously; set the regulator to suit the device with the highest pressure requirement.
Which pressure regulators is it compatible with?
It is built to fit Stürmer pressure regulators, including models 9001197 and 9000507. Before connecting it to another brand, check that the thread and connection match.
How can I check the connections for leaks?
With the system under pressure, brush soapy water onto each joint; bubbles show where gas is escaping, so you can tighten the fitting or reseat the seal.
