      Sulfiredox, developed by the renowned French company Laffort, is an aqueous copper sulphate solution intended for winemakers. Thanks to its oxidizing action on wine, the product removes light sulphur compounds, preventing and eliminating reductive notes and oxidation issues.

      General principles of use

      Sulfiredox is added to wine carefully and in controlled doses to neutralize unwanted sulphur compounds that may cause unpleasant odours. Copper sulphate reacts chemically with these compounds, rendering them odourless and improving the wine's aromatic profile. It is essential to follow recommended dosages to avoid excessive copper levels in the final product.

      Product characteristics

      Sulfiredox is a clear, light blue liquid with a purity above 99%. The product is supplied in 1 kg containers. The recommended dosage is 2 ml/hl to 10 ml/hl, depending on the wine’s condition and treatment purpose. Shelf life: 4 years from production date.

      Quality parameters: chlorides < 100 ppm, iron < 100 ppm, lead < 5 ppm, arsenic < 3 ppm, mercury < 1 ppm.

      Storage

      Store Sulfiredox in its original packaging in a dry place at 0–20 °C.
