What is the maximum working pressure of the device?
The carbonizer is designed for a maximum working pressure of 2.5 bar. This pressure is sufficient to achieve effective CO₂ saturation in wine, cider and similar beverages. Do not exceed this limit to ensure safe operation and to avoid damage to the pump or carbonation stone.
How long does the carbonation process take?
Typical carbonation time is about 10 minutes under optimal conditions (+4°C and 2 bar pressure). At these parameters, the device provides about 8.3 g/l of dissolved CO₂, which corresponds to a well-carbonated wine or cider.
Can the device be used for beer?
No, this carbonator is not designed to carbonize beer. Beer usually requires higher CO₂ levels and different process parameters. The device is specially optimized for wine, cider and similar still drinks that require moderate carbonation.
Why is +4°C the optimal temperature?
The solubility of CO₂ in liquid increases significantly at lower temperatures. At +4°C, carbon dioxide gas is more efficiently absorbed and preserved, ensuring a stable and uniform carbonation result with lower pressure and faster processing time.
What does 15 micron porosity of stone mean?
The carbonation stone has 15 micron pores that distribute the CO₂ into very fine bubbles. This maximizes the contact surface between gas and liquid, allowing faster and more complete absorption of CO₂ into the drink, preserving its natural aroma and taste.
